Help with Accessing Salvia Hub Mirrors
If you're having trouble accessing Salvia Hub via the normal website, here’s a guide on how to use alternative methods like IPFS and Tor:
Option 1. Using IPFS (Native)
For more advanced users, you can use the IPFS (Native) link. You will need an IPFS-enabled browser or client to access it. Some examples of browsers and clients that support decentralized IPFS access include:
- Brave Browser – A privacy-focused browser with built-in IPFS support.
- IPFS Desktop – A desktop client for accessing and managing IPFS content.
- Opera Browser – Opera has native support for IPFS access.
To use it, paste the following link in your IPFS-enabled browser or client:
Note: The native IPFS link is not yet functional, but it will be available soon for fully decentralized access!
Option 2. Using Tor Mirror
If you prefer a more anonymous browsing experience, you can access Salvia Hub through the Tor network. To use the Tor mirror, you will need to install the Tor Browser:
Once you’ve installed the Tor Browser, simply click on the link above, or copy-paste it into the Tor Browser's address bar to access the site.
Note: The Tor mirror is still in development and is not yet available. It will provide even more censorship-resistant access once it’s operational!
Troubleshooting Tips
- If the IPFS Gateway link is not loading, try using the native IPFS link with an IPFS client.
- If the Tor link doesn’t work, ensure you're connected to the Tor network and using the Tor Browser properly.
- If you experience any other issues, check your network settings or try accessing from a different device.
Why These Mirrors Matter
Salviahub.com and the regular IPFS gateway aren’t as censorship-resistant as they should be. They rely on centralized servers, which can easily be targeted and shut down by the authoritative 1% that control our lives. But I’m not just sitting around waiting for that to happen. I’m actively taking steps to make sure Salvia Hub stays online no matter what. The native IPFS link and Tor mirrors are fully decentralized, not controlled by any single entity, making it way harder for anyone to mess with them. These solutions are my digital middle finger to those who think they can suppress our voice and control the narrative.
